Amazon on Thursday told Republican senators it removed a 2018 book because it won’t sell literature framing transgender and other sexual identities as mental illnesses any more, according to the Wall Street Journal. It came as a response to a letter asking why people couldn’t buy When Harry Became Sally: Responding to the Transgender Moment on Amazon, Kindle or Audible.
The company didn’t immediately respond to a request for comment.
