Thursday was a crazy day for PS5 restocks. Sony’s PlayStation Direct site had a queue started for people who received emails from the company to get special access to buy a PS5. Then soon after, another queue began forming for everyone else. It didn’t take long for them to be completely sold out. Walmart also had a PS5 restock that didn’t last long either. We’re still waiting on Target, which supposedly has a large restock happening soon.
If you still haven’t been able to buy a PS5, know that a global chip shortage and scalpers using bots are both exacerbating the problem.
