If you’re like millions of other gamers, you’ve been anxiously awaiting an Xbox Series X ever since Microsoft announced it over a year ago. And especially since launch day back on Nov. 10 of last year. But the product launch proved to be little more than a tease — enormous demand, anemic inventory and focused attacks from bots and resellers have kept most people from getting one of the sought-after consoles at ordinary retail prices. There have been a few additional inventory drops in the weeks since, but in every case precious few customers managed to snag a unit.
