At a time when many students around the world are fully experiencing learning online where it once was in a classroom environment or only partially virtual, learners might find it more difficult to deal with daily progress, including keeping track of what tasks they have to do, and when they need to do them.

Advocating for the student experience, Moodle and the Moodle Users Association (MUA) have chosen this year to focus on enhancing the Moodle experience for learners. For the upcoming release of Moodle 3.11 (May 2021), the MUA has proposed and funded a significant improvement to help learners keep track of all the activities that are due in their Moodle courses: Student Activity Completion. In turn, this improvement will be part of Moodle’s overall enhancement of the student experience on Moodle 4.0.
