The PlayStation 5 is no easier to purchase now than it was nearly four months ago when Sony launched its next-gen game console. Back on Nov. 12, it sold out immediately, and that remains largely unchanged today. Currently, the PS5 is sold out in both of its configurations: the $500 model with Blu-ray and the less expensive $400 digital-only model that lacks an optical drive.
